Joshua Jones is CEO of StrategyWise – one of the largest data science firms in the southeastern US, and a multi-time member of the Inc 5000. Josh serves regularly as a senior advisor to the C-suite on how companies can leverage data science and artificial intelligence to build competitive advantage in the marketplace.

His career experience has spanned 6 startups, 40 countries and 7 languages. Josh has been quoted by Forbes, CIO.com, the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Entrepreneur Magazine, has served as an advisor to members of congress, is a TEDx alum, and is a regular speaker and lecturer in Universities and conferences across the US.

Joshua received his Master of Business Administration at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama.

Eric Langley

Eric is a co-founder and the managing member of the firm. More than 75% of Eric’s practice is devoted to representing electric utilities in pole attachment, joint use and other telecom matters. This practice area spans multiple disciplines, ranging from day-to-day consultation with clients to major matter representation in contract negotiations, state and federal rulemaking proceedings, and litigated disputes in state court, federal court, state utility commissions, and the Federal Communications Commission.

Eric spent nearly 18 years at a large law firm before forming Langley & Bromberg LLC in 2016. He is a frequent speaker at joint use conferences and trade meetings across the country. His core litigation practice focuses on joint use, pole attachments, energy and spent nuclear fuel litigation, but he also has tried casualty, intellectual property, consumer credit and zoning cases. Eric is married and has three children. He enjoys running, following his children to soccer and basketball games, and the beach.

In her role as General Manager of SQF, Liza is responsible for the development and management of Tilson’s asset-owning affiliate. Her responsibilities include developing solutions for customers, overseeing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing financial health.

Liza has worked for Tilson for 5 years and has over 10 years of telecom experience in a variety of roles including marketing, finance, project management, community engagement and business development. She served on her local planning board and has taught economics at the college level.

As Tilson’s Licensing Manager, Debbie is responsible of leading a team of professionals that perform all the required licensing of poles and conduit for Tilson’s carrier customers. She and her team support both wireline and wireless projects from the application through the make ready process. They are closely integrated with Tilson’s other implementation teams, including legal, engineering, drafting, construction and project management to drive process efficiencies.

Prior to joining Tilson 4 years ago, Debbie had 19 years of experience with an electric utility in a variety of operational roles.

Shanell A. Pharr-Williams

Shanell served as a subject matter expert in Joint Use between Utility and Telecommunication companies in Missouri and Illinois.

Currently, she is a Business Development Executive at Ameren MO. Shanell is responsible for creating and sustaining Ameren revenue by engaging the highest level of personnel at large Commercial and Industrial customer accounts to communicate Ameren's competitive business advantages. She also facilitates the negotiation of Ameren energy and service agreements, implement proactive community and business development strategies in partnerships with local/regional/state development partners, and support service and investment/job creation and public policy implementation. Shanell has worked for Ameren for more than 25 years, receiving awards and recognition for leadership and supplier diversity. She has served on numerous local government planning boards.

Shanell regularly speaks on leadership nationally. She holds a Master of Science in Business Management, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership. She will soon be inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, receive the National Leadership certification while becoming a member of Sigma Alpha Pi.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Alden will offer refunds on registration fees until December 31, 2019, minus a $50 cancellation fee. After December 31, 2019, participants will be responsible for the full registration fee and no refunds will be offered. However, we will accept attendee substitutions from within your company until the date of conference. Requests for refunds must be received in writing to Ashley Little at 10 Inverness Center Parkway, Ste 500, Birmingham, AL 35242.
